Neat-o Games I've Played

Some of these games are my favorite, most beloved titles I've ever had the pleasure of playing. Others aren't exactly gems, but still stick out to me in my memory (positively) for one reason or another. These are games I don't want to forget, games I've learnt from and refer to for design examples. Unfortunately, sometimes my mind still goes blanks when somebody asks me, "So, what games do you play?" so, this helps. MOST of these games I've finished; else, I've played many hours of them & they've left a strong impression on me.

[Removed from this list: 1bitHeart ('cause I never finished it lol), Owlboy (also unfinished), Castlevania SNES and Aria of Sorrow GB (ditto), Super Metroid (ditto); Pokemon Black & Black 2 (upon replaying Black I am a lot less fond of it... :/ Meh.); Wandering Wolf Trick ('cause I found out the creator did something morally reprehensible :( ), Syrup & the Ultimate Sweet (same creator as previous :( )]

Top 7 Games I am totally OBSESSED with:

(in no particular order)

*My favorite Pokemon Games besides Colosseum (& XD) are Leaf Green, Sapphire, and Scarlet.

Games I would like to play:

games I've played recently (not necessarily completed):

I do this for my other pages, might as well put a list here, too. after all, I wanna remember new stuff I play, even if it's not a favorite to go on my main list above. this list is stuff I've played from ~2021-now, maaaybe late 2020. games on this list I played for at least an hour & did not necessarily complete.

*Okay actually I didn't play these, but I watched as I sat on the same couch as someone else played these.

Did you know? LOTS of the games I play, I was able to do so by checking them out at my local library (oftentimes by taking advantage of the inter-library loan system and the large network of libraries mine belongs to). I just place a hold, wait a few days (usually--it's a longer wait for the newest games), and pick up my game and play it over 3 weeks or so. way more accessible and affordable than constantly buying games. requires a little patience but it feels great to get to try a game out first for free instead of dropping $60 on it. I can play so many more games thanks to libraries!! I get to read more comics, books, and watch more films as well. (also, I don't have to clutter my shelves with games or movies I didn't end up liking/wanting to keep.)

other games (there's more!?):

if I were to list out every single game I've ever played, in part or whole, it would be exhaustive and impractical for this page's purpose. also there are a lot of bad games I'm not keen on remembering I spent 5 minutes to an hour with. for those games I've played well in the past that aren't my favorites but I kinda still wanna remember, there's another page for that here.
