Light Novels (sorta also on my Books page):

What's a Light Novel? Light Novels are NOT comics, but they're often housed in the manga section at bookstores because: same target audiences, typicially originally written in Japanese, same publishers, may accompany an anime and/or manga of the same series, and similar genres and art styles. Light novels are easy-reading "rainy day" novels that are typically short and have full-page illustrations every few chapters (often in a "manga" or "anime" art style). Many light novels are later adapted into anime or manga.
